Axle Tek decal Axle Technology Quality: Self-Adjusting Brakes Advantage:

Standard hydraulic brakes require the user to manually adjust the brake shoes over time. Adjustment is required to provide consistent and efficient braking performance. Failure to complete this task results in weak brakes and a failure in an emergency braking situation. Self-adjusting brakes eliminate this work by automatically maintaining proper alignment while driving forward, saving time and providing consistent, safer braking.

QAI Testing and CSA certification:

These brake assemblies meet and exceed the requirements for the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). CSA certification requires a brake to stop a regulated load within a set distance and to be built to industry standards. In addition, these brakes have been tested by QAI for braking performance in a complete automotive setup under real-world conditions to ensure safety and quality.

Automotive-Grade Friction Material:

Axle Technology brings automotive-grade friction material to the trailer brake market, providing improved stopping power and longevity. The friction material is fully bonded to the surface of the shoe, and the lining is custom-molded for a perfect fit while reducing the chance of cracking or crumbling. Tapered edges protect against mechanical lockup when brake shoes are excessively worn or broken.

The friction material is SAE-N certified, meaning it is environmentally safe and complies with California and Washington regulations. As a result, it not only provides high-performance braking that stands the test of time, but is also environmentally friendly and safe for use in both the United States and Canada.
