Axle Technology Quality:
QAI Testing and CSA certification:
These brake assemblies meet and exceed the requirements for the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). CSA certification requires a brake to stop a regulated load in a set distance and to be built to industry standards. In addition, these brakes have also been tested by QAI for braking performance in a complete automotive setup and under real-world conditions. This provides realistic scenarios that the everyday driver experiences while ensuring the brake is built with safety and quality in mind.
Automotive-Grade Friction Material:
Axle Technology brought the power of automotive-grade friction material to the trailer brake market. This provides improved stopping power and longevity. The friction material is fully bonded to the surface of the shoe. The lining is custom-molded on the shoe, which provides a perfect fit and reduces the chance of cracking and crumbling. In addition, tapered edges protect against mechanical lockup, which can occur when brake shoes are excessively worn or broken.
The friction material is SAE-N certified. SAE-N means the material is environmentally safe and complies with California and Washington regulations. As a result, this material provides high-performance braking that stands the test of time while being environmentally friendly and safe to use in both the United States and Canada.
