Axle Technology Quality:
Self-Adjusting Brakes Advantage:
• Standard hydraulic brakes require the user to manually adjust the brake shoes out over time.
• Adjustment is required to provide a consistent and efficient braking performance.
• Failure to complete this task can result in weak brakes and failure in an emergency braking situation.
• Self-adjusting brakes automatically keep the shoes properly aligned while driving forward, saving time and providing consistent, safer braking.
QAI Testing and CSA Certification:
• These brake assemblies meet and exceed Canadian Standards Association (CSA) requirements.
• CSA certification ensures the brake stops a regulated load within a set distance and is built to industry standards.
• The brakes have been QAI tested for performance in a complete automotive setup and under real-world conditions to ensure safety and quality.
Automotive-Grade Friction Material:
• Axle Teknology uses automotive-grade friction material for improved stopping power and longevity.
• The friction material is fully bonded to the surface of the shoe with a custom-molded lining for a perfect fit and reduced risk of cracking or crumbling.
• Tapered edges help protect against mechanical lockup, which can occur when brake shoes are excessively worn or broken.
• The friction material is SAE-N certified, meaning it is environmentally safe and complies with California and Washington regulations while still delivering high-performance braking.
