Main Specs: Brake Size: 12-1/4" Diameter x 3-3/8" wide Main Body Construction: Cast Backing Plate Mounting Position: Left Hand (Driver's side) Adjust type: Forward Self-Adjusting Servo Type: Duo Mounting Flange type: 7 bolt Manufacturer: Axle Teknology LLC. Part numbers: B1210H-41 Dexter Crossover number: K23-410-00 or 023-410-00 Lippert Crossover number: 213222 Warranty: Limited 1 Year Axle Technology Quality: Self-Adjusting Brakes Advantage: Standard hydraulic brakes require the user to manually adjust the brake shoes out over time. Adjustment is required to provide a consistent and efficient braking performance. Failure to complete this task results in weak brakes and a failure in an emergency brake situation. Self-adjusting brakes take the work away by always remaining properly aligned. This happens while driving forward, automatically saving time and providing a consistent and safer braking experience. QAI Testing and CSA certification: These brake assemblies meet and exceed the requirements for the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). CSA certification requires a brake to stop a regulated load in a set distance and to be built to industry standards. In addition, these brakes have been tested by QAI for braking performance in a complete automotive setup under real-world conditions, ensuring the brake is built with safety and quality in mind. Automotive-Grade Friction Material: Axle Technology has brought automotive-grade friction material to the trailer brake market, providing improved stopping power and longevity. The friction material is fully bonded to the surface of the shoe. The lining is custom-molded on the shoe which provides a perfect fit, and eliminates or reduces the chance of cracking and crumbling. In addition, tapered edges protect against mechanical lockup, which can occur when brake shoes are excessively worn or broken. The friction material is SAE-N certified. SAE-N means the material is environmentally safe and complies with California and Washington regulations. As a result, this material not only provides high-performance braking that stands the test of time but is also environmentally friendly and safe to use in both the United States and Canada.
