Axle Technology Quality:
Self-Adjusting Brakes Advantage:
- Standard electric brakes require the user to manually adjust the brake shoes over time. Adjustment is required to provide a consistent and efficient braking performance. Failure to complete this task results in weak brakes and failure in an emergency brake situation.
- Self-adjusting brakes are always properly aligned by adjusting automatically while driving forward, saving time and providing consistent and safer braking performance.
QAI Testing and CSA certification:
- These brake assemblies meet and exceed the requirements for the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).
- CSA certification requires a brake to stop a regulated load in a set distance and to be built to industry standards.
- These brakes have been tested by QAI for braking performance in a complete automotive setup under real-world conditions, ensuring safety and quality.
Automotive-Grade Friction Material:
- Axle Technology brings the power of automotive-grade friction material to the trailer brake market for improved stopping power and longevity.
- The friction material is fully bonded to the surface of the shoe, and the lining is custom-molded for a perfect fit that reduces cracking and crumbling.
- Tapered edges protect against mechanical lockup, which can occur when brake shoes are excessively worn or broken.
- The friction material is SAE-N certified, meaning it is environmentally safe and complies with California and Washington regulations while providing high-performance braking.
